Thought y'all would like to see my new to me Bark River Aurora I am trading a kuksa with a friend on another board just got the knife and it is one hell of a nice blade. Have never used a knife that can compare to it yet hands down best I ever owned. Although I am a pretty new collector haven't owned a ton of knives I have been bitten by the collecting bug :D

I've never tried any of the Bark River knives, but from the looks of it, it ticks all the boxes of a bushcraft knife. Does it hold an edge well?

Steve :)

Thanks guys

Steve to be honest I don't know yet how well it holds an edge. I only just started to use it yesterday give me a good month of beating the crap out of it I will let you know. But the word from a couple other barkie users and the guy I got it from they hold a fine edge and for a long time he said to. After the light beating I gave it yesterday going through apple and the black walnut ate the wood as if it was close to pine. The walnut was a bit tough but hey it's walnut even so she blasted right through it where my Mora as great a knife as they are choked on it lol
