Ran across this today not sure if been posted but what a damn slick idea. Been looking for a simple way(and cheap) to freshly grind coffee when I go camping neat idea here

If you get the Tesco one it does a course and fine grind. Works perfectly on the pepper corns so don't see why the coffee would be any different.

I like strong coffee and drink lots of it... but I'd be twisting for ever and a day to get a pot out of a pepper mill. There are lots of ready ground and delicious coffees here in France. However a good light way of filtering it is something I found more recently, http://www.cyclesportsuk.co.uk/enlarge_image.php?pID=6576&img=0§ion=497. They are a bit pricey but a really nifty idea. With a few filter papers the whole affair weighs very little and would fit into my zebra bill.
