I followed Ade Rose's advice and bought a DJP from Duncan Chandler. It is a very nice knife indeed. At the moment it is just a blade and needs a handle. Have thought about making my own but may buy the scales and pins from Duncan as I don't trust myself to select the right material that won't split when in use. His blades are cheaper than most mass produced knives and are a work of art. Can't recommend him highly enough.

I have one of his large nessmuk blades that I am handling at the minute, I am using black liners and green micarta scales for mine, then going to get a lucky-lee sheath for it.

Ah sorry, I don't have a digital camera. 35mm film in an EOS5 is my preferred picture maker. A bit old school now but still a thing of beauty.
