Finished these two earlier today, I picked up some blades from Dave Budd at the RV, the wood is Cornish Oak Burl which I have managed to find on my travels, it's hard as hell.

No mate I got lucky with both although I have been using my Christmas present....a Dremel 4000 which I can honestly say is top drawer with stuff like this.
I meant to pick up a left hook but got two rights instead so I phoned him today to ask if I can exchange it, he's now making me some more flatter curves aswell.
I'm hoping to do the set in the Oak Burl which should look grand, overkill for a carving set I know but why not!
Did you remember to ask Leon for my clamp? no worries if not ....it's only a Trago bargain.

Oops, no I didn't.. Sorry.. I was walking around in a daze all weekend. Bloody booze..
He is making me a belt, so I will try and remember to get him to post it to me with the belt..

They look damned smart Glen. I was looking at Daves crook knives but had to refrain as he already forged the daughters knife blank and I really needed a decent wet stone that he had sat on the table. There is only so much I can get away with spending on his stand before the good lady starts to ask questions.
