Here's something pretty impressive I've found from a genius Jap-chap I'm subscribed to on YT.

All his vids are clearly filmed and the projects are pretty impressive too. He pushes the boundaries of alcohol-stove technology to produce well engineered, hand crafted and lightweight efficient stoves. From junk!

I think he might have been inspired by the "common-rail" diesel fuel supply theory on this one?

It's a shame that there isn't a stove like this uses petrol, kerosene or diesel ie no pumps cylinders etc

I gave this a first quick try at weekend and it turned out quite well.

Pipe I picked up from http://www.greenweld.co.uk/acatalog/Shop_Aluminium_185.html.

My only real problem is that I didn't have a compass cutter to accurately take out the centre parts which really need to be done accurately as they need to be slightly different sizes so as to 'weld' together properly. As such I had to freestyle the holes with my Stanley knife and then botch the joins together with extra glue.

It's actually really easy to make though and works very well even on a first go.

My only critiques are

1 - there's no way you could just knock one of these up in the wild, it's considerably more involved to make than a standard stove.

2 - it turns out quite a bit heavier (but surprisingly stronger) than a standard 'full inner wall' alcohol stove. It is still insanely light though!
