Which Brassica is that then? It was on the side of the A39, nowhere near any rape fields.

Could be a few of them. Hard to tell with the immature leaves and not seeing it in the flesh..

It looks very much like Brassica Rapa to me.

Like jonny said hard to see at youngish age, but I'm gonna go for Nigra, rapa I thought had more pointed toothed leaves ??

I noted the narrow nature of the base of the petals and the overtoppping of the buds. I'm pretty convinced it's Rape, but I'm not 100% sure. It's a new family for me.

Bit difficult to tell by the picture but my guess is Charlock Sinapis arvensis
