A photographer Bob Sharples captured a magnificent image in my home county, a Raven flying off with a Rabbit near Marazion, Cornwall, UK.

Pity, the could've bent the truth a little and crammed slightly more alliteration into that title:
"Ravenous raven makes off with a bunny brunch" :D

Fantastic shot. Ive never seen a Raven do that but have seen a Heron stalk and eat a young bunny before.
Nature is raw in tooth and claw.
BUT its bloody amasing to watch :D
Cheers

Great shot of a powerful & majestic bird.
If only you'd been there with a Rook rifel Ashley, Raven & Bunny pie, two for the price of one shot.
Now that's a bargain!

That's a hell of a coincidence, just got back in from the saturday shopping trip and saw a crow attack a rabbit by the side of the road. Thought it seemed strange that it would attack a live rabbit but after seeing your pictures, guess that it makes a bit more sense now..... just thought it might have been a mixie rabbit on its last legs
