I does. But it's the size of a postage stamp, and I got the 30% bigger tarp! Will post a photo of it on top of a DD 3X3 when I get round to it.

I think you're looking at the Ontario SPAX. I don't see the point of that and the kukri together. Why not a small axe and a folding saw instead? Maybe the weapons angle I guess...

And I'd substitute a Remington 870 Express for the Mossberg 500.

To many moving parts in them pump action guns. Give me a regular 12 gauge O/U of any brand any day. But I have a feeling the banger ain't for grouse shootin'....

Ha! I didn't even look at the description. I thought the cutout in the middle was either decorative or a bottle opener. It looks "gimmicky." I can't see any firefighter worth his salt actually using this thing.

FishyFolk: for overall reliability, I would completely agree with you. A good O/U or even just a single shot break action has fewer things to go wrong and would be the better choice. In the zombie apocalypse when repeatability is needed, and reliability is required, I'd still go for the 870. :war: :o

Dunno, my mates just got back from AFG and some of thier kit makes a mockery of the old SLR and its stable mates, although its nice to see that the powers that bee have seen that 7.62mm still has a place on the battlefield

No canteen and NO BREW KIT!!!

Are you seriously telling me these Uncrate people expect Joe Sixpack to duke it out with a zombie horde, then not treat himself to a nice hot brew?

NO TEA BAGS, NO THANKS!

Ach Mr K Scouser - you're just like a zombie horde with a sore head ;) [try saying that tongue twister after a few Laphraoigs]

I don't know. I was out before the new toys where issued. But here in Norway when they introduced the new assault rifle (HK416) the politicians wanted to make sure that the ammo was environmentally friendly. So they banned lead bullets :confused2:. Instead they where to use some new stuff they invented for the rifle. But it turned out the gas from the discharge made the soldiers seriously ill when firing it. So they could not use it to train with. The army was banned from shooting it's rifle for several months...another problem was that the ammo broke the rifle itself. (a part in the trigger system broke off, and the gas regulator was pushed out of it's position)...

Not good when the zombies are coming!

I'm not sure just how much good the 'American Silver dollar in air tight capsules' is going to do you either. I don't think the apocolyptic zombies are too worried about legal tender.

It's got the MSR Titan Pot which is really more of a kettle (it's the one I own and love) and the Guyot bowl and cup set. So, you technically could have a brew, but the lack of some sort of water carrier is unforgivable.

I imagine the resourceful zombie battler could fashion a makeshift water carrier from the larger bowl in the MSR Titan Pot, its lid and some of the McNett Gear Aid Tenacious Ultra Strong Repair Tape, but what would be the point, if having transported water, then boiled it, if you didn't have a tea bag to pop in it for a brew?

It just isn't cricket!
