Been sunny here for the most part; except for the last 1/2 hour. Nasty storm system rolling in. Lots of lightning and rain. Cool to watch out the window from the office, but not going to be cool if it's still raining when I have to walk to my car. I didn't bring a jacket or umbrella today...

Not saying it's been hot in Scotland but the local butcher had to remove the tongue meat from the shop window - that's right - because it kept panting!

Apart from the tail end of last week, when we had a day of bright eerie fog, followed by a mini monsoon; it has been glorious weather down here on the Cornish 'Riviera'.
And I've been out walking whenever I've had the chance. St Michael's Way (http://www.carbisbayholidays.co.uk/discover-cornwall/lelant/st-michaels-way.htm) yesterday (although I did cheat by getting the bus back) and St Ives to Zennor (http://www.carbisbayholidays.co.uk/discover-cornwall/st-ives/st-ives-to-zennor-walk.htm) along the coast path, then back again inland climbing up and down the hills of Mordor adjacent to the B3306, today.
Found lots of new potential sneaky overnight spots along the way, now all I need to do is pull my finger out, grow a pair and do one.
Oh and remember to take a camera with me.

Been chipping away at the 14 pre-paid knife orders I have on my list past while, plus a weekend away roughing it and fishing on a beautiful lake island. :)

How ironic - the thread about how quiet things have been has been getting the most repsonses...;)

Is it me, or has it been a bit quiet on here this last week?
I guess folks have been enjoying the outdoors, embarking on holidays or wrangling children.

I'm trying to make a good few posts but - given that I am 'between jobs' - I've hardly had a minute to myself this past week. Server install/migration for a national cleaning company has been a bit of a bugger especially given their previous IT contractor was about as useful as a one legged man in an ass kicking contest. Honestly if I ever meet them face to face I will not be held responsible for my actions! ;-)
What's everybody else's excuse ;-) lol

Busy trying to find/secure work for the company i run, school holidays, jobs around the house and those that know me know I have another 'hobby' that gets in the way. Busy week so far with call outs and training
