To quote FishyFolk, about Biltema; "thats where Norwegians go to get really bad tools to fix stuff that end up even worse..." - this is true for Danes as well.

Biltema carries two diffrent knives made for them by Mora, both in carbon- and stainless steel versions.

The other one is this; http://biltema.dk/da/Fritid/Friluftsliv/Knive-og-varktoj/Morakniv-19216/ - costing £3.35 in carbon steel and £5.45 in stainless

The cheaper one is a design made especially for Biltema, it looks like a downgraded version of the Companion, I will buy one and beat the s**t out of soon.

The other knife is a classic Frosts Mora design, the blade is the same as the Companion, the handle is completly covered in rubber. It is a very good knife, easily on par with the Companion.

Both knives come with the classic Mora plastic sheaths.

These knives are cheaper than buying the blank blades!

He, he, I got my Mora knives from there as well. Actually just came in from the shed after sharpening my Biltema Mora 711 Carbon after the house 13 year old had borrowed it without permission, and left it with no edge at all. I think he has used it to try an baton trough a rock...Anyway that is the same knife as the Mora 711 Hunter that NB had as a competition prize once :-)

This is my main whitling knife. And I ususally have a stainless steel version around as well, as a fishing knife. Very comfortable knife to use, and scary sharp :-)

Going to be intersting to see what you will put it trough and what how it holds up :-)

At that price, I think I'll buy one and test it together with a few of the knives - and maybe this folding saw; http://biltema.dk/da/Fritid/Friluftsliv/Knive-og-varktoj/Campingsav-16424/

I have that axe, just got it a week a go. I mean to test it in the woods tomorrow and make a YT video. But I can tell you that it does not come with an edge at all. But half an hour with a file and a sharpening stone and the edge is ok. The picture says its a 0,75kg head, but the sticker on the axe I got said 0,9 kg. Pretty sure it's the same axe, as it's the only one with the Granfors like design.

The handle of the axe is varnished, so I recomend to get that off with some sanding paper, and oil it. But the head is secured with a wood wedge, as well as a round metal wedge. I also stripped the paint off and forced a patina on mine by wrapping a cloth (baby whipes) around the head, soak in vinegar and leave over night.

I will make a video review of it tomorrow, weather and family permitting...
