Hi all,
On the demise of my local Woolworths, a Poundland opened up and I've been buying some really good stuff in there recently for next-to-nowt.
Yesterday I picked-up a bag of 2 x 'glow bracelets' each consisting of 6 x mini glo-sticks. I tested a couple and they were good for about six hours and I've now inserted a couple into each of my first-aid kits.
They were intended for clubbing but work well without ecstasy and sweaty grins, so I'll go and spend a tenner getting loads of them so I can hand them round on the next meet (might be a couple of months away as I'm waiting for an op for a trapped nerve in my back at the moment).
In the meantime (and if your local Poundland is owned by the same people) keep your eyes open for these. They do a pack of 2x 6" light sticks as well. The packs are a quid each and are black with neon lettering.
Steve
