Definitely useful kit.... Especially if it goes pear shaped up on the scout.....

I bought one of them emergency foil shelter things from poundland, it looks like a tube, 8'x5', can be used as a ridge type shelter, or close up one end to make a bivvy bag.... Or if one or more, maybe a bothy type shelter, with everyone huggled up and try and close both ends up, with just enough gap for ventilation....
Combine this, and my army bivvy bag, should deal with most cases of bad weather on any of the peak trails....

Good idea if you get caught out, but needs a bit more thought put into it in my opinion........
