I know its only £8.99 but i really love this knife but despite seeing reviews on here and youtube I am a little hesitant to try battening with it, i dont know why but has anybody else used this knife? and what are its limits?:ashamed:

I baton with mine, i had the edge roll a little but not a problem really.
There is a review on it in the actual website of natural bushcraft, watch that might help you decide.
I say go for it, worth a try ehh.

Ohhhh, I've beat the Bejezus out of mine. The Woodlore course I was on, it was the only means we had of splitting wood. Everyone battoned their Clippers with no ill effects.
I still use a Mora, though these days I use a Classic as opposed to a Clipper and it still gets battoned.

Hit the blade, don't hit the handle and you'll be fine, here's the internals from some of the mora range..

i batton with mine all the time and have had absolutely no problems with it, just because its cheap dont underestimate it it will do all you want it to and more and if it does break(which is very unlikely) its only a tenner down the shute
