Hi all

My name's Callum and have the privilege of staying in Central Scotland. I've been wild camping and bushcrafting for a while. I'm lucky in that my girlfriend enjoys camping too so I manage to get amongst the trees quite often though my pack somehow weighs twice as much when she comes along.

I don't drive but there's loads of places within walking distance or I can load up the bike with some basic equipment and go a bit further afield. If I've got a knife, pot and a bag of food I can normally make myself somewhere quite comfortable to put my head down. I want to improve my foraging knowledge to save on weight especially when out with the mountain bike.

looking forward to hearing your stories and getting advice from you all.

Hi Callum, welcome to NB. I know Stirling very well stayed up there many times in the Riverside complex of apartments with a great friend. You can see the castle from his windows. Hope you have fun here. :)

I live down the other end of Riverside about 5 minutes from there. My windows point the other way so ive got a view of the Wallace Monument and the Ochil Hills.

My friend lives in Oliphant Court. Stirling is one of my all time favourite cities. :)
