For many of us, the Honey Stove from backpackinglight (http://www.backpackinglight.co.uk/product397.asp?PageID=118) has been a fantastic bit of kit allowing the use of different fuels within one stove. Recent improvements have included a titanium version for the lightweight luggers as well as the pocket stove versions.

There have been a few other types of stove available and many on here have produced their own but for me the Honey Stove has always been everything I needed. Unfortunately I have this affliction that forces me into looking for lighter stuff, so I had a nose about to see if there were any cheaper alternatives to the Ti Honey Stove as the £75 price tag made me cringe a little. Thats when I came across this Element Stove (http://ukhammocks.co.uk/shop/article_63/Element-2.2-Stove.html?sessid=PGsMCTfET89PqkDoq1jFUAsurFbXH7VX DLFJPDS1nlngw75JkqPwbf7oVtKfgrFY&shop_param=cid%3D15%26aid%3D63%26) now available from ukhammocks. It looks pretty good and at £35 for a lump of titanium, its not badly priced either. There's some more info here (http://www.tripleatripleo.com/wood-stoves/) including a few vids but I was wondering whether any of our friends from across the Antlantic had any experience of this one?

I also am afflicted with the lighter smaller obsession, this stove seems a great option for the money, may have to havr a go at reconstructing this one at work!!

Hi,
Thanks for sharing - that looks a good faff-free alternative to the Honey or Vargo Hexagon. Still on the search for the ideal quick brew stove, and this looks like a real contender.

nice looking stove but as I have over 30 stoves at the second I can not really justify another or can I ? :)

Looks pretty good, shipped from US though so whoever buys it will probably have to pay import duty and VAT? Don't know how much it'll cost then?

Think the price from UK Hammocks is all in? - even though it ships from the States. Thats the way I'm reading it anyway - could be wrong!
