Hi all
Thought that you may find these pics interesting.

They are of a newly emerged Southern Hawker Dragonfly.

I love the water droplets on the delicate wing in the last one.

I was out walking/fungi foraging with my daughter when we went to a pond we know of.
We sat for a while and saw the water literally start bubbling so we took a closer look and watched as this Dragonfly pulled itself out of the water.

One of those "once in a lifetime moments" and wouldn't you know it-I left the bloody HD video camera gear at home just this once.

So the photos were taken on the phone.

Although I've had to drastically drop the quality of them for the forum as my Tapatalk thing isn't working properly.
