You need to have a paypal account set up mate.. Easy to do, then you just give out your email address to get paid.
Make sure they pay you as a "gift" or you will have about 4 percent (the paypal charge) taken from you and not the person sending you the money.
The money goes into your paypal account, but you can transfer it into your normal bank account for free..

Just be aware when buying using Paypal, if you use the gift option you will not have any cover from Paypal if you get fleeced.

The good thing about welcoming bushcrafters is that I don't have to keep ya in da house, just string you up in the nearest trees :-)
And Tony, you can also send me a bill trough Paypal. Just remeber to add all the extras to the bill to cover your expenses :-)

Paypal has always been a pain in the butt for me, especially setting up my bank account to be linked to it (problem was, I created an account 10 years ago and linked it, used once, didn't like paypal, then created an account a few years ago to send money, but had issues with loading my account and verifying it) nutshell, biggest issue is the time to transfer the money from paypal to your account, I got paid last Thursday for an Alpha Wolf knife, transferred it that morning, the latest itll show up in my account is the 17th........not that I need it, but still frustrating to deal with when I do need the cash at hand within a few days.

The time problem from your paypal account to your bank account is due to paypal being a foreign bank. International money transfers trough the banking system always take time.
Transfers within the paypal system is almost instant, because that is within same bank.

Ya, figured as much. Still, I prefer email money transfer, but that only works within Canada and from online banking. Doesn't work for everyone here. Buy I mostly use Paypal for outside the country payments, because it works and is better than having a cheque sent via snail mail.

a cheque sent via snail mail.
People still use cheques?
I have not seen one it at least 20 years :-)
I do not think I could get a cheque book issued at a Norwegian bank at all anymore, and they are seriously disgussing to get rid of physical money as well.

I still use them, for rent and support for my son, prefer the EMTs though, but I'm also lazy in that I do everything electronically, and it's rare to have cash on my person.

I use my debit card if I buy a Snickers. Also, here you can withdraw cash in every shop. The only thing I use cash for is when I need to give the kids some money. Everyone over 15 has their own card anyway, so tfor the 17 year old i just transfer some via my smartphone and it's instantly vailable to him. Even fishing licences are payable via SMS.
Using a debit card is normally free in Norway, and cost very little abroad, so i use it there too. And everyone, including gran uses internet banking to pay the bills....I hardly see a bill in the mailbox. I just get an email reminder and it gets paid automatically by the bank.
