Watched a good few videos on DIY meths burners made from cans today.
In the name of Bushcraft, I picked up a four-pack of Red Stripe on the way home, so after I've done these, I'll have a go at making a burner ...well maybe in the morning then! :ashamed:

I did my first few after drinking the contents. Suffice to say they didn't work *quite* as well as I had hoped (they still worked though!).

Use something flat and heavy to press the sections together - I find this simple tip gives a far superior join than trying to do it by hand.

Made many kinds of popcan stove... All worked as good. Made one from an old de-odourant can, best of the lot.

I like the Heineken keg shaped cans if you know the ones? Sold in a 6 pack usually?

Not used them yet...... But the de-odourant stove is very similar to the white box stove... And that seems to be a popular type..

No can do.... Gave it to a fellow bushman this morning... But I am already in early stages of type 2 whitebox style alcohol stove.....

If you look on youtube, there is a burner like a whitebox....
