hey all i was just wondering if you had any recommendations for a smaller folder, im looking to get one for Haili (not for any special occasion, i just feel she should have one, right now shes got an excellent reproduction victorinox that i found in an attic) obviously i want good quality at an affordable price (less than 60 U.S dollars) and i think i found the perfect knife within these limitations. i wondered if anybody had any experience with the Spyderco Ladybug 3 (not the original). ive read more than fifty separate reviews on several different sites and cant seem to find a single bad one (ill post links upon request) if you could recommend something better id love to hear your ideas.

where i originally found it:

youtube review, he doesnt say much more than youd find on the website but honestly the blade speaks for itself so here it is:

also just wanna point out (for no particular reason) that if this is the one then im going to get it in purple as it was the only color that didnt disgust me besides black (i realize that since its a gift my opinion doesnt matter, but i already showed it to her and this was her favorite to)

thanks all and happy new year!!

Hey dude

Whats the staple task of the knife?

I have a Wenger Evo swiss army knife that its great for random tasks (cutting paracord, sawing sharp edges from shelter poles, the little metal bit which seems to be good for a lot of random tasks). Think it may even come in pink/purple. Also comes in high vis yellow which is a life saver!

If your defo after a folder i think theres some good buck knives about (not a fan of them myself) maybe the buck classic? (dunno if its purple though :D )

which knife? her reproduction or the Spyderco? if you mean the Spyderco then honestly i dont know when or even if shed ever need it but i believe she will so i searched for an all around utility knife, this is what i found. everyone always should have a good knife. im not a fan of Buck either, especially not for folders. ive had too many break on me to really trust the brand, though fixed blades are a different story.

thanks for your input :)
