I used to work in an outdoor store that sells Fjällräven. No doubt; they make some great clothing and bags (i have several jackets and a few bags myself), but having said that; the prices are a bit over the top when you compare it to similar brands, like Pinewood. I usually say that Pinewood is roughly 80-90% the quality of Fjällräven, but only 50% the price.

Deliberate price differences between countries is a common thing, most big brands do it - though rarely with such a noticeable differences as Fjällräven. You are unlucky in the UK, I do not beleive there is any place in the World, where Fjällräven is more expensive.
