Hello from North Nottinghamshire

Hi guys and gals. My real name is Andrew and I live just north of Mansfield, in the East Midlands. We're a 5 minute drive from Sherwood Forest, renowned haunt of Robin Hood.

By day (and sometimes night) I work as a software engineer, making and maintaining Web sites. This means I spend most of my time sat down at a desk. The sedentary lifestyle is beginning to reveal itself around my midriff.

So... that's why I'm here, really; to build on my currently somewhat limited knowledge of bushcraft and sustainable living with a view to becoming more active, and hopefully losing this belly of mine. :-)

I've already been chatting to KaiTheIronLord in the chatroom and he has told me how wonderful you all are.
