My mate is very much into shooting (shotgun with the toffs in tweed breeks et al) and he was telling me about a local company (well its just a husband and wife) who do some good clothing. I have no affiliation with them, I'm just letting you know they exist.
http://www.blackislander.co.uk/ They're from the Black isle just over the water from me.
I'm saving for these..... http://www.blackislander.co.uk/catalogue/blackislander-scratchless-10-high-leg-boot.htm they come highly recomended.

Looks like some posh stuff on their site Fraser, I have a pair of Le Chameau wellies and they are very good but pricey, (my feet get very hot and sweaty in them when walking)

Aye they're quite posh. Its more for the knobs. But... a LOT of the local ghillies are wearing these boots now and they all swear by them. Pricey; but as far as I'm concerned you cant put a price of comfy dry feet when you're up the back playing (ooh-er missus).
The missus wears Le Chameau wellies when she's doing the lambing on the farm where we live. She says they were worth every penny (got them cheap in a sale and still they were expensive).

You can't get a better recommendation than 11 years use AL, if they could talk, I bet they would have some good stories to tell.
