Nuts For Chestnuts

Yesterday we went collecting chestnuts (yup, we actually found some ripe ones!).
We had the kids with us and this was the first time they'd ever collected chestnuts or even tried them!
Then we got them to push us in the hammock...

Those were the truely great days of my childhood, chestnutting near Clophill in Bedfordshire being one of them. Must get out there soon

Outstanding video :D. The Chestnuts here in the US had a bad year, it seems. The nuts themselves have barely matured.
