This is the same place at 2pm. The light had changed dramatically so out again...

And at 4pm it looked like this. The lights are my neighbours...

Still to far soutrh to get dark all day. But the sun won't rise above the horizon from beginning of december to the latter half of january (the dates vary). So all we get is a couple of twilight hours , much like in the first picture. The last picture is taken at 4 in the afternoon...

June and july is a wonderfull time. You can't sleep so you get out of bed and go fishing at 1 in the morning, and when you come outside the neigbour is outr painting his house. You walk over and offer him a beer and before you know it there is a full on neigbourhood street barbecue party with kids and all. Most people have a month off work at that time, and no school. So why bother about what time it is. Sleep when you get tired, not according to some **** clock. That you can do when you are back slaving for the man....

Lovely pics :D. A bit like my front yard (without all the snow, of course) - roughly 900 acres of woodlands and meadows, with two ponds and a lake ;).
