Poundland Treasures

Was in Poundland at lunchtime today and saw they had a stainless steel ice bucket and tongs.
The bucket had a couple of lugs on either side that you easily add a chain to for hanging over a fire and the tongs would be good for...well, tongs. No lid on the bucket, unfortunately, but they had some other stainless plates and pots that may fit nicely on top.
Thought it would be ideal for anyone looking for a cheap billy with the added bonus of not needing to punch holes in the side for some kind of suspension method.

Went back and picked one up... That's an interesting set up al, is the steamer just there for stabilisation?

I've got one of the Ikea ones too Mark but it's in storage somewhere.

Thanks Simon . Thats just over a mile from where I stay :D

UD I have the steamer wired on to the bottom It works great as a wind brake as well as keeping hot ash off the ground and not burning the ground under it . If I just want to use the steamer as a fire bowl I just undo the wires and leave the pot in the bag.
