Hi guys/gals, does anybody have preference/recommendation/advice for a down jacket that compacts down well with RRP upto £200?

Rab Neutrino Endurance!

This coat is so good that my kids keep trying to steal it, even my 11yr old daughter that thinks clothing has to 'look right' rather than function properly.

It is an absolutely amazing bit of kit that comes with its own stuff sack that looks way too small but it really does fit. Its at the top end of your price range but an alternative may be the Rab Microlight that comes in cheaper although its less insulated. Used the Neutrino at the last meet where temperatures dropped quite low (especially at 3 am!) and I was toastie.

The Ultralight 850 from LL Bean (http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/75144?feat=504714-GN2&page=ultralight-850-down-jacket) priced at $179 looks good.
They do ship to the UK - here are the details:

Hmm I'm also looking for a new jacket. My old Down Jacket is very very old now and has a few small holes here and there. When it rains it's a bloody nightmare. The thing turns into a drowned rat and weighs a ton!

That snugpak sleeka looks very nice. Would love to hear others views on their down jacket of choice.

I have a Mountain Equipment, Fitzroy jacket. It's really warm and won't stop working when it gets wet. It's also very lightweight. Maybe worth adding to your list of possibles.
