A friend of mine is a keen photographer. He has kindly allowed me to post this link to his web-site:

On the horizontal menu bar, click on 'Chotilsko' and the drop down menu has four sections: 'jaro' which is spring, 'leto' is summer, 'podzim' is autumn and 'zima' is winter.
The area is a plateau of rolling hills, farmland and forests above a river (the same river that flows through Prague 50 kms later). Even allowing for artistic licence, the photos are very representative of the area.
