I've been using Photobucket for my needs but I checked Flickr out when this thread came up. Impressive site, it might do the forum a good turn in one way but I could see running the forum would become more time consuming if member numbers hit the roof.

Ash, you will have to hire one of those MILK I think its spelt like that !! secretaries :D

A couple of questions- why do we need it, and how could it improve on as site as good as this without attracting time wasters.

its good promotion for the forum and its a good way to pool all our pictures for others to see and maybe come to the way of the woods!

Still not convinced Justin, can you give me a better example of how it would help us as a group, and why do we need a goggle rating anyway - as you say you run several other groups so your knowledge is far greater than mine on the subject
also having had my fingers burnt when some of my photographs were stolen and then published by some students you could say that I have an inbred fear of photo hosting sites in general, but don't
let me put you or anyone else off of using them, I was out of touch with the ways of the world when it happened high as a kite on anti depressants and beta blockers at the time - a bottle of scotch is much more fun !!
I am now much more cautious about which photographs I post on site - as you could probably tell by my effort on the calendar competition :ashamed:
You could say once bitten twice shy - and you wouldn't be far wrong either mate, but if it proved to be good for the forum then so be it I'm not the sort to bury
my head totally in the sand - just up to nose normally so I can still watch what's going on :)
Cheers Bri
