Hello all, I Finally found time to make a wood gas stove from old cans, I'd been promising myself to do one for a while.
Ideas came from youtube but added my own twists, Made it and wanted to try it, outside was wet and horible....
Stood it on an piece of wood on an upside down bowl, cut up some wood and lit it up,
Fired from the top which seemed a bit strange but it was quickly alight, then the bright idea struck and decided to properly test it with a pan and some food.
All going great popped in for a spoon and some bread, the wind blew the whole thing over....
Pan landed updide down emptying the food on the slabs, then the stove full of perfect embers landed upside down in the food, Dog didn't care after it had cooled
PS... Stove was almost smokless and worked great, but will have to work on the stability issue ... joking apart there is a lesson here.
