1.1.13 walk in the woods

Got out today for the first little walk of the year. walked from home into the woods and fields above the sea and stopped for obligatory brew (and chocolate chip panettone) . windy up high but calm once in the woods.
6285 The bracken always looks sad this time of year.
6286 Once clear of the lower wood the sea came into view and it looks a bit angry.
6287 The welcoming steam from the kettle.
6288 No trace left and off home. Work tomorrow so I needed a chill.:campfire:

I had to walk and get the car,left it round a friend's after there party last night,it was only 2 and a bit miles but it cleared my head and got the blood pumping! Spent the afternoon out back with the fire alight doing a bit of carving which has been nice. Roast chicken dinner tonight then back to work tomorrow :(
