Very fancy - not quite my cup of tea and wouldn't want to expose it to Sod's law though!

very nice, but somehow doesn't seem to fit in with my vision of bush craft cooking. ;)

I wonder if it will recharge my Android phone???? ;)
In all seriousness, I think I'll stick to a Honey stove.

The design is actually quite brilliant - and it is getting fairly good reviews.

I have been considering getting one for a while actually.

He he, two things are stopping me. price, and my fairly unsuccessfull test with a self made gasifying stove this summer. I did not like that to refuel I had to lift off the pot. And each time it took a minute or so until I had good flame again, and could put the pot back on. I had to repeat that 6-7 times before I had boiling water, if not more.

But, lower the price by about 100$ and make a front fed design, and I will consider it...

...uh...no, I prefer a good old fashioned camp fire.

Can I attach it to the side of my Chiminea? I might just be able to power the household appliances. :D

looking at the flames on that you should be able to power a small town. ;)

I have a posh stove, it used to be a stainless double walled champagne ice bucket. It's now a woodgas (solo stove/bushbuddy) after a few holes later. My solar charger fits inside it !!!!!

i like the idea of this stove, being able to charge your phone could be handy, looks quite bulky tho, compared to a solar charger! clever tho!

very clever stuff, have been looking for the parts to make my own and the thermoelectric generators are available on e-bay..having said that a good one comes in at about £45ish so but the time you've made all the necessaries to go with it i dont think it will be far off that price anyway.

Instead i'm presently trying to work on a battery free fan powered woodgas stove...the theory is in place, just in need of some parts now i am hassling everyone i know for broken hard drives and computer fans. fingers crossed ;)

The grill idea seems to do away with having lift off the pots to refuel - clever idea

Has anyone got one yet? It seems that shipping could be a killer according to some of the reviews so is there a European agent for them?
