Hey,

So I treated myself to a new lens ( Canon EF 70-300mm IS USM ) and she's a beaut.
Took a few goes to get used to the change in composing shots compared to my usual 17-85mm but got there in the end and was lucky to see lots of Roe deer.

Enjoy!

Wow! T^
Beautiful pictures - quite a remarkable landscape :D.
The deer in my parts are a bit camera shy.

Wow, cheers for all the feedback guys. Yeah I had a very lucky day to see so many in one visit, but have spent many days last year observing deer in the same area. I guess the research paid off, or maybe that means I'll have 3 more trips and not see anything?
Will keep you posted!
The new lens makes a massive difference, also upgraded the card my camera writes to, now much faster so am able to take many more shots than waiting for my CF card in my DSLR to keep up with me.

Cheers, luckily you can't hear the drone of motorway traffic in pictures (but depends on wind direction) but it's pretty tranquil
