Not bad tonight, i can't take or leave some of his programs personally but can't take anything away from him, he's a decent chap who knows his job
Much preferred his Survival/Bushcraft/Wild food series.

Seems to me most people tend to prefer his other series, but I think they're all pretty awesome! I do agree these could of been made a whole lot better though! With all these bushcraft specialists popping up up and down the country I can't believe no production team has picked it up to do a proper series like his earlier stuff?
Anyone else feel the same?

I can...its ok producing the prog, then they have to sell it to a TV channel thats where the issues arrive. I managed to get a 'celebrity' and a production company to agree to a one off special of an already aired series...sadly no channel will take it on...project ends

Know what you mean there. Just look at what happened with the angling series Catching the impossible. It was hosted by Martin Bower ( Nephew of John Wilson of Go fishing Fame) And actor Bernard Cribbins ( who also did the narration of passion for angling. It was filmed and produced by Hugh Miles who also made the passion for angling for the bbc. They all invested years into filming and struggled to get a tv channel to take it. Then we have extreme fishing with Robson Green. 3 series so far. Its all wrong.

Totaly agree with you Steve,Green is a complete k**b, but thats what people want to watch,Passion is in my mind fantastic closely followed by catching the impossible,Hugh miles has made many wonderful films, his snow leopard film was awesome. Paul
