Where do you do all your adventures?

Right outside the door mainly. We live in the Bavarian Alps. ;-) We also travel to Arctic Finland in January, most years, to get a proper dose of cold.

You should come to England for the Winter, for some proper cold. We get damp cold thats eats into your bones..
My parents live in Montana in America. They have had their Winters go down to -37, but they come over here and complain about the cold lol..

Yes you have a lovely area and I can tell you love it there. Would love to do something like that one day myself.

That is a very picturesque part of the world you live in there Susanne and it is grand to see you are making the most of living there.

I bet if you tried to ski in the dark in this country, you'd soon discover there was a law against it, or encounter someone who thought there should be one.

Thanks for sharing.

Lived in Manchester for 10 years, starting when I was a student. Know all about it. :-)

Never been so cold in all my life. Crossing the snake pass on a motorbike on a wet windy night in december. Insane.

Hehe, yeah. Did quite a bit of fell running in the night over there, and of course everything in Scotland in the winter starts and ends in the dark. *grin*

Mostly though, the only people I met were those mad enough to be out there too. :-)

Thanks, will look at gatwick to Munich as from the sunny south ha ha. But maybe wait until nice and cold again next year, unless it's always cold?
