Just discovered this site other day & think its fab just like your youtube chl iv subscribed to. Im Geo from south west scotland , explains the skirt :) . I didnt even know what bushcraft stood for until 3 yrs ago & iv been a townie since 22yrs, however thats about to change! I grew up in the country (village life) , i made the papers for winning a trophy for fishing , iv had air rifles from 13yrs & had a shot gun 12 bore from 17yrs to 19yrs which i had to surrender due to no time with sitting my exams (joiner) & family life . Iv missed the woods so much & pinning for them again so iv studied bushcraft & survival for nearly 4yrs & with out being vane i have confidence in myself which iv collected a few certificates along the road my latter being the highest security level 6 from highfield. I have studied many books , dvds & all types of peoples knowledge & saved up all my kit in this same time & plan to live a childhood dream by taking 3mth out to to use the law of the lands wild camp & land access to do a wild camp tour in native woods as well as record it for my two boys to try get them interested in the outdoors for a healthier life style as well as to learn them important lessons in life... last hope lol. So hope iv been a good student which im known for to be good at things i take an interest in.
I dont see myself as a prepper or the world is coming to an end but only that i love nature which filled me with euphoria ever since i was 10yrs of age wandering miles without water or food over the moors & didnt get back untill dark sumtimes in the back of a police car sent by my parents but nothing could stop me which we laugh at now. Well iv got the kit & hoping to make this happen my tour come august & hopefully il have my final piece of kit a helsport kongsford which is fire retardent so can fit my frontier stove in there. I was going to just use my True north tarp over my mountain tent but had a change of heart i think ! this is why iv not bought the tipi yet as i wanted to show my tarp hitch , truckers hitch , siberian hitch , tension hitch & tarp tension hitch , iv got 13 nots & hitches all in from tying tripodes to hanging up kit.
I dont think il be active on here much until my film is complete which i might put up on youtube as i really think iv got lots of knowledge to pass on...well im rich in theory but zilch in practical which i like as wont be bored putting all this stuff iv got to do into practice.

Could you ever get your gun back that you surrendered, or do they destroy it..? Welcome along :0)
