The Girl likes her comforts, but someone said she has too many toys.

So it's Back to Basics with a fireplace you can build into the side of your tarp shelter.

Yes, you too can be warm, cook, be stealthier AND use 1/10 of the firewood to stay warm and cozy on the mountain in the winter.

The Girl says:
Mountain+Winter+Skills=Awesomeness
Mountain+Winter-Skills=Unncessary Suffering (Just say NO!)

This is just a raw clip. Editing the full vid is in progress. (EDIT - The full video is further down!)

Girl goes "Back to Basics" - In the Alps. In the Winter.

No tent
No sleeping bag...

So now, in an actual *complete* video, I show you in detail how to build a fireplace in a tarp shelter and what it's like in there.... I could cook, dry my socks... NICE!

Another great vid Susanne, thanks for sharing.

Dave (reallybigmonkey1) is one of the Youtube greats. The things he makes along with his infectious laugh and deep south drawl have kept me entertained for a while now. Well worth subscribing if you have never seen him before.

Well that looks different, never thought of things like that. But yes I do like it when I'm sort of in solitude think that's why I used to like my diving, when away from my students. And being on water is calming, so I can really see what it's all about.
Do you ever do the courses over here, or go to any shows?
