Meet up in the northwest

As a follow up to the get together on Tuesday night we talked about getting together for a wander in the woods so this is open to anyone to meet up from where ever your traveling from the woodland is big and situated between Darwen and Bolton Lancashire and the proposed date is mon 4th march or tues 5th march depending on what's best for the majority. There is plenty of shelter and wildlife so it should be a great day

Looking to get back into it with renewed vigour now though. Just followed all the threads to this one and looks like I missed out on some much sought after Northwest\Lancs developments. Is there anything else planned in the future?

Would be good to meet up with Aide and Ian, as we only met briefly last year.

We are hoping to have regular meet ups to share our different skills etc. if your interested, I will be doing a 3 hour guided foraging walk here in May.

I'm also doing the Help For Heroes event on 18&19 May this year again which is where we met for the first time last year.

Right gents I'm gonna put this out there if any of you fancy a wander up tockholes woods we can meet at 10am on Tuesday 2nd April at the car park outside The Royal Pub bb3 0pa is the post code.
If there's anything in particular anyone wants to do, practice or try all is welcome, I'm really intrigued to see how everything is coming along with the recent snow and frost!?! So would be good to have a wander and stop for some lunch a brew and a good chat amongst the trees

Let me know who's coming for definite then we don't leave anyone behind!
