I've been waiting since before Christmas for some new stuff to come in from TW. I bought the 1.8 metre wide Hornet Hammock with added zip to close up the area where the thermarest or quilt goes. I haven't had the chance to use it properly because I have been waiting on one of their tarps with doors. They have brought out some new products this year including two sizes of the tarp I want to buy and bigger hammocks. The following is a rough list on whats they are going to stock.

Black & green ultralight hammocks
3-layer Hornets, some are a newer version
All other versions of Hornets
Camo Hornet at 1.8m wide and 3.2m long !!!
Green zip-in bivi hammocks with removable base.
Cornelius 3m x 3m tarps and also in 3m x 4m
Sargasso Storm tarps
Sargasso tarps at 3m x 4m (and some at 3m x 4.2m just in case 4m isn't enough!)
Sargasso tarps in grey, much lighter material
Green & black compact hammocks
Black XL hammocks
Super XL Compact hammocks at 1.8m x 3m (in green & in black)
Green poncho-tarps in 2.4m and 2.7m (now dark green, fancy lightweight ripstop approx 500g)
Jungle 1 hammocks
Camo insulated hammocks
Sargasso & hammock combo sets in dark grey
Tarps with doors in 2 sizes 4.5m x 4.5m and 3m x 4.2m

This lot will be split between their Ebay site and website so it is better to check both. These tarps with doors are going to be very, very popular. There has been a lot of talk about them on Youtube so I thought I would contact TW and see if I could pay a small deposit towards one, guaranteeing I would get one before they sold out. Neil, the owner of TW said people have been asking about them for a year and they haven't made a load of them. If any of you guys out there want one, send him a message and he will stick your name on the list to guarantee one. He will carry on doing this even if they are sold out by people reserving them before they arrive.

Please Note: I have nothing to do with TW Tarps ( as per forum rules ), its just that I think they sell great gear at decent prices compared to other companies selling similar.

Cheers Neil

Tarp with doors?
Isn't that, really, a tent?
I'm sure some will love them, but I can't see the point, myself - the tarp already has two 'doors' - one either end.
I think what you really need is what is commonly called 'a tent'.
Adding these features, complexity, size and weight seems to be missing the whole point of a tarp in the first place.
Oh well, each to their own.

P.S. I Have a TW hammock and it's great. It was the basic one they do but it was dirt cheap and compact. Perfect.

I had a quick look on TW site last night at the "tarp with doors" and watched one of the worst put together reviews ever on YouTube.

The tarp is essentially a standard design with two flaps either end held on by Velcro and press studs. It looks easy enough to modify a standard tarp (DD 3x3 etc) with these removal flaps for winter use.

Plus at £50 it's a pile of cash!!

I plan to use a poncho if it ever comes to that. It will only be usefull when there is wind and snow anyway. Soemthing we have plenty of here, but opted for a regular, but large 4,5x3 hammock. That way I have some "extra " tarp that can be pulled in as doors, and any reaining opening I block with the tarp I use as a pulk tarp in one end, and my poncho in the other.
