Just wondering what people carry every day which "could be useful"
Not sure if I'm going over the top but I work on a farm in the middle of nowhere and I commute to work on a motorbike that "has character" (i.e. isn't always reliable!) so as well as my work stuff, I also always carry the following: small sharp knife, paracord, multi tool, hobo stove, firesteel, torch, several types of tinder, small billy, lighter, lifeboat matches, full water bottle, snacks. They take up very little room but I reason they'll make my time more comfortable whilst I wait for someone to come out and pick me up with a lowloader! They also get slung in the car if I'm going anywhere, in the bottom of the buggy if I'm taking the sprog for a walk, etc.
