Ooh They seem to have all bases covered, no pun intended

about £270 without ( £43 )tarp

lots of pennies, maybe one day, but would like to try one first

personally the phrase 'over engineered' leaps to mind not to mention over priced.

Too heavy and over engineered for my liking, give me a Blackbird any day.

I would like to try one but there's no way I'm going to carry that kind of weight around, some clever features but I prefer to have the protection from a tarp rather than a weatherproof hammock.

My only comment is that zips always leak (at least, they do when they're near me) so you're going to end up with a Tarp

The stuff sack looked pretty bulky but then it did have a tarp in there as well.
I like it, yep.
Would I pay the RRP for it? ...Nhaaa!

Certainly ticks a lot of boxes, I would like to try one but the price is a little daunting.

It's probably very nice. But I can by 6- 7 TW Hornet hammocks for that money. And I am pretty sure the quallity is not 6-7 times better....

It is very shiny and I would not say no if some offered to let me try one, but as has been said above, the weight would put me off. Also, a completely enclosed hammock kind of defeats the purpose of hammocking for me, as I like to watch the world go by as I lie in mine.

And what about that price? You could buy a reasonable quality second hand car in my part of Cornwall, for less than they are asking for one of these gizmotrons, so no, not for me.

Some good ideas and features though and I will be interested to see if any of them filter in to new versions of other existing hammock ranges.

Thanks for sharing the link Ian T^
