Weekend near Buxton in the Peaks

Just got back from a caravan holiday with my family in the Peaks, we took our van up to a site just outside Buxton. It was -8C outside at night but toasty warm inside. I was planning on putting my hammock up for at least one night but I forgot the under blanket so gave it a miss.
Here are a few of the more interesting photos from the weekend.

These icicles had formed from a broken limb of a Maple, the first photo was how I found it. We all had a taste, it was sweet, cold and very refreshing. The next two photos are 24hrs apart after harvesting the each day.

So thats about all the interesting ones, did lots of tracking and fire lighting in sub-zero conditions but forgot to take photos. There were loads of Trout in the river at Bakewell, but the wife wouldn't let me make a triple headed spare to catch them :confused2:
