we meet at Orchards Campsite for a Two Nighter, most of the weekend there were 7 of us, joined but a couple of guys that could only make one night, on the Saturday night we had a group meal of Beef stew and dumplings, which was enjoyed,
Once we had breakfast and sorted the fire wood on the Saturday morning we set about, a couple of us carved spoons, and then did a bit of teaching on how to sharpen an axe and knife, kit discussion is always at the top of the list so is looking at the new guys set ups, taking on new ideas and also helping them with there set ups, we built the group shelter in the afternoon so we had cover in case the weather changed that night.
All in all a good weekend, with loads of chat and ideas.
