T^ All that which you do will return to you, sooner or later, for good or for ill. Thus strive always to do good to others, or at least strive always to be just.

it's there allready!
Amazing!
I was a bit nervous about shipping the knife. And I had to wait for weeks for the supermarket to stock those fire steels again. And when I finally had it together, I forgot to ship it, it was sitting on my desk at work for days. My colleagues where starting to speculate what was inside it, lol

Anyway, thats a Mora 711 in carbon steel. The fire steel I chopped off the plastic handle and made one from juniper. Same as I made for Jeep when he sent me an opinel knife.
Else it's just some chockolate, empty film canisters for matches, spices, sugar, salt etc...some instant cocoa, and some stuff I got from ebay. The bag is a molle magazine throw pouch. Nice to have on the belt to stick birch bark, and other stuff you find on your way in while walking in the forest, instead of putting it in your jacket pocket.

Oh and by the way. The sheath is not a belt sheath, it's a button sheath. If you are going to carry it, sow a button under your belt, and fasten the knife to that, then tighten the belt over it. Thats the traditional way of carrying that type of knife, which we calla "Tollekniv". That is a word that hails from old Norse, the language of the vikings. The old norse word is "talguknifr", and talgu simply means "to whittle" and "knifr" is knife...so whitling knife.

Anyway, you will find that handle very comfortable and grippy.

Anyway, I am happy you liked it :-)

I forgot to tell you that the ferro rod is only secured in the handle by friction. So you may have to glue it in at some stage. But the wood is seasoned juniper so I doubt it will happen as the reason it did not get glued in place, was that I test fitted it, and could not get it out again...lol
