Has anyone else noted how when you spill half a cup of Teak Oil on the laptop the screen starts to go black from the bottom up??..:ashamed: Will need to go shopping fairly soon I fear...http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Sad/tears-003.gif

I'm not sure whether that's a phrase used in English, but there's an Afrikaans saying "well oiled but not yet legless" or that's my best translation. So you can imagine what I expected to find here... :)

Pity about the laptop, but now you can upgrade. ;)

Oops, maybe if you turn it upside down it will stop it from rising? The you can rotate Windows 180*, it might make typing a bit tricky though

I have enough trouble typing as it is..http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Laughing/lol-021.gif

Couldn't resist turning it on to see what happens..and it still works as you see..:happy-clapping:

In the middle of the screen at the bottom is a black 'rising sun' shape about 10cm long and 4 cm high but amazingly the keyboard still works.

I had a bottle of teak oil open on the table working on some wooden handle scales I'd just finished. A boat went by a bit quick and my boat, my home, bounced against the jetty in her wash. I made a grab for the oil, missed and knocked it onto the laptop..Glug-glug..

Thought it was end-ex but no, it's still alive..just.:D :D
