I was out today, just for a walk and ramble.
But whilst taking shelter from the rain I sat there and did a bit of whittling.
Then, on the walk back to the car, I left my whittlings stuck in a tree stump beside one of the pathways.
And it's given me an idea.
Here's what I'm going to do.
I will offer a prize to the first person who can find them and post a picture of them in situ.
I'll give a few hints and tips to make it easier.
Firstly, you'll have an easier time finding them if you park in the small car park rather than the big one.
Secondly, they are stuck in a stump beside one of the main pathways not one of the smaller ones, and about a five minute walk from the car park - just keep going and don't turn off the path!
I won't say what the prize will be, but I will say that it will be a substantial piece of leather work that would have a commercial value of about £30.
First person to post a picture gets the prize!
