Amazing amounts of water in flooded Alpine Germany...

Does the Girl stay home and mope?

Yeah. Saw some guys putting on yesterday. Still quite a few big mobile strainers and a lot of hidden stuff, so I'm a bit wary.

We in the mountains are alright since all we really need to do is divert the water running downhill with sandbags and so on.
But in the flatland it is really getting to be no fun at all.
Whole cities are underwater and evacuations are planned.

Eughhh no fun in a flooded city...damned dangerous ! 12 hours in cold, minging flood waters - South Yorkshire 25th June 2007 - never again !

That was a TOTAL horror show. We did sandbags for what seemed like 1000 hours!

Yeah it was pretty heavy. Especially the run-off from the dam.

Yeah, plenty of strainers. Hidden and mobile. Hardcore amount of rubble being transported too. Made it into a bit of a meat-grinder. You could hear the boulders moving on the stream bed...
