Like most people, I love a bargain and have got a suprising number of things from poundland. I thought it was worth starting a thread about it as its a common national store and most of us will have a local one.
So please share what are good deals from there and what should be avoided
I got the water bottles for myself and the kids and they are a real bargain

I have also got cotton wool balls and vaseline, the generic camping section has a few usefull things and some tinned food can be a good price too
I did get a set of socks there too which were not very nice and I have only used once, will stick to my 1000 mile socks
