Morning thunderstorm knocked a tree down outside my house. GB made short work of limbing in preparation for chainsaw... and the woodpile continues to grow.

I have one of them. Tis a small forest axe with a longer handle. My one goes out with me n the chainsaw come coppice season.

The very top of the tree was 10 meters from my house, did take out a couple cedars I planted.

sweet brother! similier to my stove... very different wood pile thought... dwarfs mine! been neglecting the wood collecting recently!

Sure beats paying over $100 for a cord ;).
Now that is a lovely wood stove :D! I don't know about you, but I cringe at the electrical or gas fake wood stoves and fireplaces...there's no real warmth, if you know what I mean - and there's no smoke aroma.
