Looks like the tarp is the 4.5 x 3. Doesn't give much away on the details!

I wont be bidding chap's (even though it looks a much better outfit than my TW basic hammock) I am time rich and money poor :(

good luck to those that do decide to bid though :)

Ditto!! I'm so "frugal" I plan to make my own hammock using a second hand sewing machine I was given and repaired from some ripstop that I acquired once upon a time..... Was even going to make my own millbank bag from old jeans until my missus bought me one for the princely sum of seven quid off the bay. She's Welsh though so doesn't have the same economical mindset that we have ooop north!

I wasn't...it used to be..it was spend, spend, spend..however my missus introduced me to the delights of home made gear, charity shop finds and upcycling...Im glad she did !!

Homemade hammocks all the way. £5 for 6m of untreated ripstop. Pennies to hem up and sew into two layers. Whipped and gathered the ends. £4 for some power mesh and £5 for a load of bungee cord to make the bugnet.

The dyneema single line and polypropylene treehuggers probably cost more.

Thats a fair point Sapper - I'm quick to reach for the cash to buy tools and machinery for my man cave! She's certainly put a stop to that!
