An Amanita?

Came across this little fellow yesterday in a grove of Black and Chestnut Oaks. I believe it's one of the amanitas - has the white gills, but I could not see any "skirt". Some confirmation would be appreciated ;).

True that, Matt. Most of the others I've seen have been partially eaten, or knocked over (if next to a trail). This one is quite small compared to the rest I've seen.
